Jeff Noethen

Jeff Noethen is a Web Analyst for a high end fashion retailer with three years of Web Analytics and Usability experience. He also has four years of sales and customer service experience for both online and in store companies. He has over 18 years of self taught computer experience and over 12 years of Internet experience. He co-operated a part time independent computer help desk business while in college. Jeff has worked for several small businesses, as well as several large corporations including American Express. While he currently resides in Seattle, WA, he grew up in Texas and has a degree in International Business, a minor in Business Administration and Spanish, and a Latin American Business Certificate from Texas State University.  While this is his first major published work, Jeff has written opinion pieces and sports recaps for his university newspaper, and has several personal blogs.
Carlos del Rio

Carlos has a great mind for Analytics, and is always bringing challenging new ideas to the table while upholding the established practices of the Web Analytics Association. He often lends advice to analysts with less experience and is always open to differing points of view. Carlos is becoming a very prominent figure in the web analytics community. Carlos was nominated for WAA Rising Star and spoke on combining SEO and CRO analytical tasks at Conversion Conference during Data Driven Business Week in 2011.
You may have met Carlos at a variety of conferences including: SMX Advanced, SMX West, SearchFest, Gnomedex, and PII Conference or as Inflatemouse on Twitter and industry forums. In addition to this, Carlos has participated in the founding meetings for the Seattle WAA Chapter that was started in the Fall of 2010.
Carlos has co-hosted several Web Analytics Wednesdays (with Jeff Noethen) in Seattle and is a dedicated attendee when other practitioners and vendors host them, and is champion of the WAW’s in Seattle. Carlos also participates in a smaller, and more casual analytics social gathering entitled #measure & #microbrews.
Carlos is an avid participant in #CROchat on Twitter. In addition to maintaining a full time Search and Conversion Optimization consultancy, Agillian (a SEOmoz recommended company), Carlos is published author of two books and a variety of articles on using and responding to web traffic data that are available here at UserDrivenChange.com.
